The Bookshelf is a family-run independent bookstore right in the heart of Newry, Co. Down. Since opening our doors in October 2025, we’ve aimed to be more than just a place to buy books. We want to be a welcoming space where people can gather, connect, and find inspiration — a little cultural hub for our community.
We believe in the power of stories to spark imagination, open minds, and bring people together. We’re especially proud to support local authors, giving them a space to share their voices and ideas.
